Scholarships for Ibero students
Offers by external organizations, such as international cooperation agencies, foundations, and foreign governments through their embassies in Mexico, so that students or degree holders of the IBERO can access scholarships for graduate studies, research stays, specialized courses, diplomas, as well as financial support for tuition-reduction and to participate in special programs, among other academic development schemes.
Botín Foundation
Program to Strengthen Public Administration in Latin America
Description: 32 selected individuals participate in an eight-week intensive course for public officials. Sites are in Spain, US and Brazil. Mentoring by recognized practitioners.
Dates to submit applications: March-May of each year, to participate in October-November of the same year.
Carolina Foundation
Young Iberoamerican Leaders Program
Description: The objective of the program is to foster the growth and development of Iberian merican countries, by strengthening the leadership abilities of the region’s youth.
Dates to submit applications: May-June of each year to participate in September-October of the same year.
Margaret McNamara Education Grants (MMEG)
Margaret McNamara Education Grants: Latin America Program
Description: Financial support for women older than 25 years, to pursue youth and women support projects. The Ibero and FLACSO Mexico are the only two Mexican institutions eligible to submit candidacies.
Dates to submit applications: May-July of each year
Tsinghua University, Beijing
Schwarzman Scholar Scholarships
Description: Full scholarship to undertake the master’s program in Global Affairs at Tsinghua University in Beijing.
Dates to submit applications: April-September to begin studies in August of the following year.
United States- Mexico Commission for Educational and Cultural Exchange (COMEXUS)
Fulbright-García Robles Scholarship
Description: Scholarships for Mexicans in several areas: Academic courses, research stays, etc.
Dates to submit applications: As stipulated in the call for candidacies
