Internationalization and Academic Cooperation
Universidad Iberoamericana sees internationalization as:
The strategic and intentional process
of incorporating the international and intercultural dimensions
into academic programs, knowledge creation, and outreach activities
to promote the development of global skills and competencies
and give our university community the means
to make a significant contribution to society
in fulfillment of our social mission and Ignatian identity.
With this purpose, the Office of Internationalization (DInt) designs and implements innovative strategies in the field of internationalization to strengthen academic cooperation and research initiatives that involve our university and its academic community.
To achieve its objectives, the Office operates through four key areas:
- Student Mobility
- Academic Relations
- Internationalization on Campus
- Projects and Institutional Relations
It also collaborates with the Academic Vice-Rector's Office, the Divisional Directorates, their academic departments and programs, the Postgraduate and Research Directorate, the Directorates of University Outreach, Strategic Planning, and Educational Innovation, as well as other areas that contribute to the generation of knowledge and creative work, teaching and community outreach at Ibero.
